The output of our recent study into Brunssum-Schinveld ceramics, also known as South-Limburg type pottery, presents an additional view of the high medieval pottery production in the South-Limburg region in the Netherlands. Furthermore, we delve into the contextualisation of the hitherto used chronological framework and provide a critical recension. A part of this study is the developement of a research program, which we hope will be honoured in the future.
